Please read these carefully
STALL-HOLDER Applicants must provide full details of the stand and the exhibits that will be displayed and sold. No goods other than those stated on the application form may be displayed or sold without prior approval by East Goscote Scout Trustee Board. Space is limited and STALL-HOLDERS are advised to make early application.
APPROVAL
Please note that us receiving your application form does not mean automatic approval. To avoid duplication we reserve the right to refuse any application request or request to alter stall type.
PROCEEDS
Proceeds from the fee provided by STALL-HOLDERS, raffle tickets and refreshments the East Goscote Scout Group sold on the day will support the charity towards improving our facilities to enhance the Scouting experience.
All profits made from STALL-HOLDERS selling their products & services on the day will be their own.
TOMBOLAS
STALL-HOLDERS are not permitted to hold any other raffles or tombolas without permission from the East Goscote Scout Trustee Board.
SELLING/ HANDLING OF FOOD
At all times STALL-HOLDERS selling/handling food must ensure that they maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Labelling of food may be helpful to prospective buyers, particularly if the food contains a common allergen that buyers need to be made aware of, such as nuts in cake.
PAYMENT
Once your application has been accepted a link will be issued for online payment. The booking is not secured until cleared funds have been received.
The payment of refunds in respect of the cancellation of tables will be at the discretion of East Goscote Scout Trustee Board. No refunds will be given in respect of cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the date of the event. There will be no refunds if the event has to be cancelled on the day due to unforeseen weather conditions.
ARRANGEMENTS ON THE DAY
The fayre will be on hard standing and there is no electricity available to STALL-HOLDERS.
STALLS will be under cover, either in the Scout hall, or in a tent. A limited number of tables are available to borrow, to a maximum of one per stall booking. This must be requested at the time of booking. If you have your own table (up to 6ft in length) please bring it with you.
STALL-HOLDERS are responsible for refuse created by and around their stall area. Please take your rubbish home with you. There are no dustbins on site. If you do have your own outdoor set up please do let us know.
STALL-HOLDERS may set up no earlier than 11.30am. A plan of the layout will be displayed at the Scout Hall.
All Vehicles must be parked in the car park. No vehicles are allowed on the grass. Please bring a suitable trolley to ferry your stock to your stall. The fayre opens to the public at 1pm.
During the Event the stands must be open from 1pm to 4.00pm. In their own interests STALL-HOLDERS should arrange for their stands to be staffed throughout the whole of the hours that the Event is open.
East Goscote Scout Group accepts no responsibility for security of the stands, equipment, stock, cash or any other property of STALL-HOLDERS who are urged to arrange their own insurance cover. East Goscote Scout Group accepts no liability for loss or damage of any kind whatsoever arising suffered by STALL-HOLDERS.
